Collaborative Law

Collaborative law is a new and fresh approach to resolve issues relating to divorce or separation, financial issues or children’s issues arising out of the separation. Collaborative law is a process by which you and your partner agree with your own lawyers to resolve issues without going to Court.

Four way meetings are arranged (this involves the two of you and your lawyers) to discuss the issues of concern and to aim to resolve those issues within this process.Often there will be three or more meetings. These meetings are very much client led, with lawyers guiding the couple to reach settlement. You remain in control throughout but have the comfort of your own lawyer being present throughout and there to advise you on any legal issues.
